Today i am telling you the trick to Hide a Drive in Windows 7 without using any additional software.You may find its application for security reasons.so follow these steps:
Hide a Drive Without Software :
Step 1: Go to run ->type: gpedit.msc

You will see a window like above.
Step 2: Then select User Configuration and then expand Administrative Templates.
Step 3: Go through Windows Components -> Windows Explorer expand it.

Step 4: In right side’s pane find out Hide These specified drives in My computer and double clicking this option thus a new window will appear.

Step 5: Mark the “Enabled” option and below this check out Option where you can chose the specified drive or all drives to restrict.
If you want to hide any specific drive then choose that option or if you want to hide all drives then select that option.
